We’ve run many shipments into the disaster zone since the quake. Here are some quick photos telling the story of our first supply run by boat bringing medical supplies from the Dominican Republic to the badly damaged town of Jacmel, Haiti. We’ve made this run several times bringing food, more medical supplies and tents to people in need. Doctors and other aid workers have hitched a ride with us into the disaster area and we’ve made a lot of new friends.

Off the plane... First stop: Load up on antibiotics, prescription painkillers & hospital supplies.

Nate cleans the shelves at the medical supply store of IV fluids, bandages, disinfectant & more.

Luke buys out the stock of baby formula at a pharmacy.

Nate crams the big rented SUV full of supplies... we drove all night to the Haitian border.

Every bag & space in the SUV was packed full of needed drugs.

The Dominican Navy relief boat at Cabo Rojo (the first of many we have been on)

Chaos all around as aid agencies & people scramble to load the boat bound for Haiti.

Nate fills up the ship’s cargo hold with our medical supplies, with help from a solider.

Nate making sure all our cargo is aboard before the ship takes off.

At sea: Checking the map & getting our bearings.

Nate coordinates by satellite phone with our contacts in Haiti.

Catching a quick (& very needed) nap on the ship to Haiti.

Arrived in Jacmel, Haiti! Luke unloading the navy boat.

Nate unloads supplies at the port dock.

Shocked: Luke & a Dominican Navy officer survey the damage in Jacmel.

Jacmel was hit hard, buildings collapsed, streets full of rubble.

Luke standing on the ruins of a home he once lived in for a time.

The crumbled remains of what once was a medical clinic.

Refugee camp: Thousands now live in the dirt with nothing more than old sheets & plastic tarps.

A homeless mother with two children to feed but no food.

Luke talks with a handicapped man living on the street with only a wheelchair & a sheet. No food.

Nate holds a hungry baby in the homeless refugee camp.

Camp Chaos: Luke looks for a child’s mother amidst the confusion.

There’s still so much more to do & desperate people that need help. Click below to give.
